It is never too early to teach a child about the various names their body parts are called and setting body boundaries. Parents are the first Child educator. It is wrong to shy away from sexual education or refuse to give the proper names to their body parts under the guise of “they will learn it in school or they are too young to be informed about sexual talks”.
Paedophiles are everywhere and there is absolutely no age limit to a child being sexually abused, i.e., sexual abuse to a child can occur at any age. Therefore it is our duty as parents /guardian/caregiver to always remain guided, create a positive Parent-Child relationship and also be a good communicator to every Child.
The sincere truth is that “Prevention is better than trauma”. So why expose a Child to the risk of being sexually abuse while we can prevent it?
